Jeff found his love for racing at a young age when his father owned horses. Once a former champion hunter jumper rider, he found himself wanting to get more involved in the racing side. At age 24, Jeff traveled the world as an amateur jockey. Eventually, his time as an amateur jockey came to a close and soon worked as an assistant trainer to quality trainers such as Bruce Headley, Dan Hendricks and Bob Hess Jr. While juggling assistant trainer duties, he found time to get a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
